We are the pre-eminent private employment firm in Lake County. The business began as a direct hire firm and in the 1980's added the Temporary Division as that service became increasingly popular for employers. Matthews is an employee-owned company. The professional staff has a real interest in the performance and operation of the firm. Customer satisfaction has always been our priority. Matthews has been long time members of both NAPS, the National Association of Personnel Services and ASA, the American Staffing Association. We remain active in these organizations to stay on top of the most current issues affecting our industry as well as to receive continuing education and training for our consultants. Matthews is a well-known name in the Lake County community. Over the years we have been proud members of the Lake County Chamber of Commerce, GLMV Chamber of Commerce and the Gurnee Chamber of Commerce. We sponsor scholarship programs with several area high schools. In addition, we support local endeavors such as that of the Genesee Theatre and the Waukegan Business Association.
