Please bring a copy of your resume. In addition, it is helpful to have the phone numbers of any business and personal references you will be listing on your application. Feel free to bring any additional information and/or documents such as letters of recommendation.

  2. Can I fill out an application online?
No, because our service is unique and personalized for you. We look forward to meeting you, so that we can discuss your specific needs and career goals.

  3. What kind of jobs do you have?
We recruit for positions ranging from industrial to professional positions such as: Warehouse, Shipping and Receiving, Skilled Machine Operators, Clerical, Accounting, Managerial and Sales.

  4. What are your hours? Are you open on weekends?
Our office is open Monday - Friday 8am-5pm.

Our clients are mostly in the Lake County Area. However, we do have clients as far north as the Racine, Wisconsin area and as far south as the Northbrook/Deerfield area. We also service some parts of McHenry County and Northern Cook County. It is important to discuss your commuting requirements during your interview at Matthews.

  8. How long will it take to place me?
This is a difficult question as each person has their own unique skills, talents and expectations. Market conditions(demand by employers), the amount of people available (those unemployed in your field), and your own salary and commuting requirements all factor into the equation.
