- What should I bring with me?
Please bring a copy of your resume. In addition, it is helpful to have the phone numbers of any business and personal references you will be listing on your application. Feel free to bring any additional information and/or documents such as letters of recommendation.
- Can I fill out an application online?
No, because our service is unique and personalized for you. We look forward to meeting you, so that we can discuss your specific needs and career goals. Feel free to download our application and bring it with you to your scheduled interview.
- What kind of jobs do you have?
Both professional and industrial. We recruit for positions in a variety of disciplines.
- What are your hours? Are you open on weekends?
Our office is open Monday - Friday 8am-5pm.
- What geographic areas do you service?
We service Lake, McHenry, Northern Cook, Kenosha and Racine Counties.
- Does your service cost me anything?
No. Our service is free to our applicants.
- Do you have part time work?
Yes, we have employers that hire for part time positions.
- Do you have to be 18 years old?
No, but most employers expect at minimum a high school diploma as a hiring requirement. As far as being employed as a temporary worker, there are some companies that are unable to have anyone under 18 working in their environments due to insurance reasons.
- What benefits are offered to Matthews' temporary employees?
Matthews Employment offers vacation and holiday pay. Please ask your consultant for more information regarding these benefits.
- 10. How should I dress when I come to your office?
We suggest that you dress as you would for any job interview.
